Systems used to store the date/Time/Location of attendance of staff.
For example, A small keyring mounted token is carried with a person, as they go past a tracking point, they place thier token against the reader and it records the Time/Date and location. The event audit trail is downloaded at a later date. As an example, this system is used to track the cleaning staff in shpping centres in order to prove that cleaners have been to all areas, and what time they were there. This has impacts on public liablity. Because it can be shown that a shopping centre has provided regular cleaning, should a person slip on ice-cream for example, the shoping centre is not liable, as it can be shown to have done what it can to prevent such events. 15 minute intervals seems to be a required interval per check. General service items on mine sites, aircraft cable loom testing...the list goes on.!
